Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord. (+40 party size), and my party size stayed at 318 until I recruited one new troop and the display only then changed to 358.

Party size: the more troops you have in your party, the higher the morale penalty will be. When removing party members, this penalty will decrease by 1 each, but a temporary 1 point penalty will be incurred to Recent Events. This means you are left with no immediate net change. Leadership: morale bonus provided by your Leadership skill.
How to increase party size in Bannerlord. Your party size is tied to the Steward skill. This skill takes a long time to level up, but the key to increasing the Steward skill is to keep your troops morale high with food variety. You can also assign yourself or your companions who have a high Steward skill to be your army Quartermaster.
Get Viking Conquest:Reforged. Since it was updated with major features so close to Bannerlord's release, wouldn't it be likely that VCR's features, including battle sizes, are an indication of what to expect for Bannerlord? I think VCR goes up to 1000, and Bannerlord media has signaled that battles can be large.
u cant, caravan will add troops based on your clan levels. aha, tnx. #2. Mars Cariocecus Apr 17, 2020 @ 2:46am. I have not tested it but have you tried to create a party for one companion, then give them better troops and only after create a caravan with that companion? In theory that should work.
