Il possède un diamètre identique (88,5 mm)… mais s’avère 10% plus lourd. Ceci en fait le transstandard le plus encombrant en face des offres Sony et Nikon.
This is a test of the Canon EF 16-35mm f/2.8 L USM Autofocus Zoom Lens on a star field. This is Canon's very expensive, top-of the line zoom lens that costs about $1,450. The constellation of Cepheus is near the center of the frame, and Cygnus is in the upper right corner. This is the full frame image at 20mm of focal length.
Attached to the APS-C sensored EOS 7D, the EF300mm f/2.8L IS USM once again puts in a strong performance, scoring a DxOMark score of 17, relative to the EOS 7D’s resolution of 18megapixels. Equally, the Pentax lens scores very well, managing 15 compared to the 16.3megapixels available on the K-5.
The falloff of the 16-35mm f/2.8 L improves at f/4, and remains the same at smaller apertures. It has has strong falloff at 16mm at f/2.8. The gray shots are of my Expodisc. This is a deviously tough test which shows even the slightest falloff. Except at 16mm at f/2.8, you'll almost never see this in normal photography.
